About Parrock Lumb Cottages
Moira and David Mitchell have been in construction for 27 years. Over this time work varied between houses, church buildings & industrial units.
Parrock Plumb Farm was purchased in 1999 and was habitable, but the Dairy and Shippon were disused. Gradually a plan evolved and the redundant barns were replaced and then the main structure was tackled.
The cottages were restored using the original slate and stone, with addition of windows and doorways to modern standards
Interiors are now ultramodern with underfloor central heating on both floors, constant hot water and a excellent living, dinning kitchen open floor plan downstairs. The aim was for a "complete package" all you need is your toothbrush, everything else is there to start off in a "home away from home".
